ABOUT US: Founded in August 2024 by Papua New Guinean anti-disciplinary artist Lungol Wekina, Wekina Productions is a vehicle for platforming art, performance, media, work, content, relationships, and community rooted in politics, principles, and values centred around widespread liberation.

Writer, Artist, Performer, Scientist, Strategist, Educator, Game-Master, Community-Builder, Thought Leader, and Media Entrepreneur Initiative Founder.
Lungol Wekina cannot be constrained by boundaries, borders, or binaries. As an anti-disciplinarian, he exists simultaneously in the spaces within and without.

We are a radical collective of artists devoted to the written and spoken word who are deeply dedicated to revolutionary, transformative, and liberatory epistemologies.
We centre Black, Indigenous, and Matriarchal liberation in all that we do. We believe that our art is more than just reflective and descriptive - it is also constructive. Through our writing, we can build a better world. Through our writing, we can free ourselves and each other.

Lungol Wekina acknowledges the Bidjigal people of the Dharug nation, who are the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters where our work started and continues. I pay respects to Elders past and present and make material, emotional, and spiritual commitments to their wisdom and teachings. We centre the interests, knowledges, and priorities of First Nations peoples as allies, accomplices, and co-conspirators.
