Founded in August 2024 by Papua New Guinean anti-disciplinary artist Lungol Wekina, Wekina Productions is a vehicle for platforming art, media, work, and content rooted in politics, principles, and values centred around widespread liberation.

Our priorities lie in the traditional, cultural, and spiritual practices of love, creativity, community, generosity, and reciprocity found in Indigenous cultures all over the world but specifically in Melanesia.

Black and Indigenous epistemologies are foundational to our work and inform the way we move through the larger contexts and industries of art, writing, poetry, performance, media, and theatre.
